Hi All,
I have troubles to use the Symbian Publisher ID Certificate. My colleague have installed the certificate onto his Macbook through Safari.
Then he export the certificate as *.p12 file. I then use TC-ConvertP12 tool to extract .key and .cer files from it.
However, after I used those files to generate certificate request file(.csr) , I went to the open signed section on the symbiansigned website and submitted it, I have got the following error message:
"Your Open Signed Offline request has failed.
There are several reasons why this may have happened:
1. You did not use a Publisher ID to create the .csr file for this request
2. Your Publisher ID was issued within the last 24 hours, please wait until 24 hours after the Publisher ID was issued before requesting
3. Your Publisher ID is in a format that is not compatible,
see this posting for more information. "
What could be wrong with this process? What is the correct way of exporting the publisher ID certificate from Mac OS and the way of generating .key file and .cer file? Thanks in advance.
Yunan
