    Hi!

I have some questions that i can't seem to find on the site.

What standards does Ovi browser support?
I have read that you should use tables for layout in Ovi browser is this true?
Where can I find supported CSS attributes for every HTML element?
What is the minimum font size you can use.
Can I run Ovi browser in a simulator?

I also have a little problem.
I am have a simple select HTML tag (dropdown) with precent width that works but the text inside is flowing outside. overflow:hidden doesn't work.
    How do i solve this?

Hopefully someone could help me with this.

    Still no answers :-(
I still need to know the questions I asked before and I also need help with one more thing.
I want to set inputmode="digit" for a input element so that the default keyboard is set to digits.
This doesn't work in ovi browser only in symbian native browser (s40 5th edition, s60 3rd edition). Should I use something else? Where do I find this information?

    Someone please help

    Standards support

Developers write Series 40 Ovi browser web applications based upon the following web standards, except as described in this section. All URLs link to the most recent information available as of this library’s publication date.

    HTML 4.01 (defined in http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/)

    JavaScript 1.6 (defined in https://developer.mozilla.org/en/JavaScript/Reference and https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Jav...JavaScript/1.6)

CSS Mobile Profile 2 (defined in http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/CR-css-mobile-20081210/)

W3C widget packaging (defined in http://www.w3.org/TR/2010/WD-widgets-20101005/)

A subset of CSS3 for supporting animated transitions (see Animated transitions for more information on this; also see http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-css3-animations-20090320/)

Please see Unsupported events, Synthetic events, Animated transitions, and About the widget object for information on non-standard system processing. For information on the supported HTML tags and CSS elements, see HTML tags supported and CSS properties and values supported.
The Forum Nokia Library is a good place to start.
input type="number" is afaik HTML5 and the S40 Web Apps support no HTML5 at the moment. So you have to use a normal input type or create some workaround.
