Submitting to OVI store

Hi,

I'am using Nokia Qt sdk 1.0 and I'am trying to understand the process of submitting to OVI store.

First I read the following link

at the end of which it says you ready to submit to OVI store.

Then the next page
http://doc.qt.nokia.com/smart-instal...vi-signed.html
it again point out some steps at the end of which you are again ready to submit to OVI store

Qt applications can be submitted only with smart installer right ? Then why the steps in both pages are needed.
Please help.

Yes. Qt applications for Ovi Store must use Smart Installer. No alternatives.

Both of the URLs I posted belong to submitting Qt applications to OVI store. As I said, at the end of the first page it is said that we are ready to submit to OVI store. Then why is the steps in the next link necessary ? That is what confuses me. It seems that the steps in the second page is for testing after changing to protected UID and not needed for submitting to OVI store. We need to submit the unsigned sis to OVI store right ?
