Regarding Ui Themes in qml ?

Hi,
I want to develop an application that enables user to change the application theme
please tell me what the simplest way to do that is?, all what i need is to apply some effects on images of buttons and backgrounds.
do i have to make different images for each widget to be replaced when theme changed or what?

i will say better bay will be draw some gradients colors in your background or where you want to theme something, and based on user decision you can change the color attributes. This will be a better approach than changing images.
