NFC Development first steps

Hi folks,

I'm researching and trying to make my first steps into the NFC technology. I've already read a lot of the ecosystem and use cases, and now I want to build a prototype. I'm not an experienced programmer, so I'm kind stuck to initiate my prototype.

Is there any old post (couldn't find), guide, or maybe someone who's working already with this, which could point me, with information about nfc development.

Would be great informations regarding all the process: which/how to get software/hardware needed, how to work with nfc tags and building a simple and basic app to a phone that makes use of nfc.
