Use Card Phone with Desktop PC

I need to use my Card Phone on my desktop computer / server. Can anyone help me?

What type of PCI card for PCMCIA do i need?

Hmmm, had the very same task and chose a simple pci to pcmcia bridge based on a Texas Instruments TI1410 controller - "Orinoco PCI Adapter". Unfortunately, it did not work. Hardware seemed to do (card was recognized), but the Nokia Card Phone Drivers just did not work. I tried it very hard (on 3 diffrent pc's)and I do know how to install stuff. Even if that stuff is a bunch off improper designed software.
But pleaze go ahead, try it. It should work with any simple PCI to PCMCIA bridge. Such thingy costs about 60euro.

In the end, I do suspect a mixture of hardware/resource and driver problems behind all my failed attempts. The driver is very demanding on correct installation (multi-device-driver) but even a correct installation does not allways lead to a functioning cardphone/workstation combination.

Pleaze let me know if you found any working combinations.
