How the Symbian System Monitors the Internet Surfing Flow of a Single Application

I would wonder how the Symbian system monitors the Internet surfing flow of a single application. When I write the Log there are new CreateConnection events emerge, and the uploading flow of the original AP(Access Point) is transfered to the new one. How can I dintinguish these flow which application should belong to? No matter how many application connected to Internet as well as AP I use, the value of aSubConnectionCount obtained by GetConnectionInfo(const TUint aIndex, TUint& aConnectionId, TUint& aSubConnectionCount) is always 1. I would appreciate for any useful answer and I am sincerely welcome for your help.

Have you tried RConnectionMonitor API already, and monitor simply when new connection & subconnections are established ? I haven't needed that functionality myself, so would not be 100% certain whether the API would fit your use case, but I would assume that it is very good candidate and you should check it out.

Are you sure about that it is monitored?

Do you get a new connection ID there?

aSubConnectionCount obtained by GetConnectionInfo(const TUint aIndex, TUint& aConnectionId, TUint& aSubConnectionCount) is always 1

According to the SDK documentations, and rconnmon.h, subconnection stuff is probably not supported/used at all.
