Help for Receiving Sms using SocketServer

hi all,

i have checked example of sending and receiving sms using socket,which interpret msg using tag...

i have to know how can i do these below mentioned task

1. Interpret message of two or more tag ie my message may have two or more diff tag , and msg should be identified for all tag..
2. interpret using sender no
3. List of phone number are there , if sender is any one of them then msg should get deleted

i know we can achieve it using SMShandler example but that plays tone on receiving message...
i want silent sms receiver

AFAIK you can only use taxt tag, and only one text tag for one receiver, so you should use multiple receivers in case you have mutiple tags. And also no ways on filtering with numbers, only text tags.

sir in that case is there any other way to receive sms silently....

as i found one application which blocks msg received from particular number and sms tone is also not played...

even i want to implement in similar way...

You could always try using different workaround. F.ex. you could set the message tone to be Silent one, i.e. a sound file, which actually does nto produce any sound, ans use your own tone plaeyeronce you get messages which are not the ones you are looking for. In this case, you coudl use normal inbox moonitoring in very nice and silent way.

but if i make message tone to be silent tone then that will effect user's other message tone also , that i don't want .....

Yes it would, and as said you could indeed make your own message player for playing the tone for messages you are not interested of.
