The Harmattan QA team seems to have expectations which they dot know by themselves how to fullfill.

    Example:
I updated the descriptions of one of my apps.
    I failed for this reason:
Linking to an External Store or Website promoting competing products.
SUMMARY: The support website includes links to an external website instead of the Nokia Store.
So, what I am promoting on my website, which is competing to the OVI store????
Does Nokia belief they can tell me what I am allowed to do with my website????
Since I am not allowed to do Linking to an External Website, I changed the link to www.nokia.com (which obviously is not external).

    New failure reason:
    FAILED: Invalid Support Website.
SUMMARY: The Support Website that you’ve listed is a Nokia or Ovi website address. This is not permitted unless you have received permission from Nokia. Please change the Support Website field to the appropriate support webpage.
So I changed it to the maemo forum (talk.maemo.org), where discussions about my apps are ongoing.

    New failure error:
    FAILED: Invalid Support Website.
SUMMARY: The Support Website that you’ve listed does not provide any support information for consumers. Please change the Support Website field to the appropriate support webpage.
    What else can I do?
I am forced to add a link, but am not allowed to link to
    • My own website
    • Nokias webiste
    • A support forum

    What is left?

I guess, as was instructed in the first rejection, your own web site, but removing links to some other web sites from your site first (at least links to sites that Nokia thinks competes with Nokia Store). Ask them which sites on your site they object to, if you have many, and whether you can leave some of them.

What is your web site, by the way?

I have the same situation from time to time. It's best to discuss the issue directly with the developer support via email.

Well, if I would send an email every time I have an issue, I would need a secretary...

Luckily I now found my own way around this issue...

I think that Nokia refers to a "web page" not a "web site".
But I would also like to see an example how a good external support web page can look like.
