Simple way to have sounds with volume control

I currently use QTMultiMediaKit 1.1 and Sound Effect to play sounds. This has the issue in Symbian that there is no sound volume control, even by setting the volume of the sound effect manually.

What is the simplest way to have sound effects in QML with volume control? Thanks.

Thanks, but the bug is in QTMultiMeadiaKit and the SoundEffect element.

There is no volume control for this class! Even if I change the "volume" property of the sound effect it still comes out at the same volume.
I was wondering if there was an easier class to use. One other option is to use QT Game Enabler but I was wondering if there was a simpler way.

I use Phonon to play music on my player app. Volume control works most of the time (has some small bugs).
But Phonon may not be the best solution for your app if you need an exact timing to play sounds. Also gapless playing of a playlist doesn't seem to be implemented in the backend.
