Changing the height of scrollbar

Hello,
Iam having a problem with changing the height of scrollball. I tried to use solution in this article:

but it doesnt work. Width is changed by height isnt. When I get the size of scrollbar after the change has been made I see that both width and height are changed but the difference can be seen only in width, height is still the same as it was before.

Generally the height would be the height of the listbox, anyway, why would you want to have it to something else ?

I didnt explain it clearly. I mean in the list i have a lot of items and this scrollcontrol, scrollblock or how you call it is too small so its hard for me to hit it and scroll. Thats why I like to make it higher so I wont have problems with hitting on it.

in essence most people do scroll the list by scrolling with the actual list, the scrollbar there is more-or-less just visual cue, anyway, as its CAkn-listbox, I would suppose any customization to it would be rather difficult, so would suggest just letting it be as it is designed. And if you really need custom scrollbar, then you should make is completely..
