is it possible to get the frequency/duration information from all tones of a melody if you have the melody as a byte-array.

the reason is as follows: i completed an application for nokia devices with sound but i deleted the original midi files. now i want to convert the application to other devices (siemens). the siemens API for example does not offer a method that allows playing a sound from a byte array. this is why i need to convert the nokia bytearray-format back do a data format i can use for other mobile phones...

any idea?
