Access to Native Functions with MIDP 2.0

Hi,

will it be possible to get access to native functions of a mobile device, which supports MIDP 2.0, such as the Nokia 6600?

For example, I've got an applicaton, which can display some telephone numbers. The User may select one and call this number directly within the application.

MIDP 2.0 has a more elaborate security model which provides access to restricted APIs to trusted MIDlets. This does not mean it allows native access like the use of JNI does. Only the functionality that the APIs provide are "possible".
