I've seen replies stating that the EPOC emulator writes logging output to \TEMP\EPOCWIND.OUT. I have (successfully) run the Nokia SDK V1.2 epoc emulator many times, but a full search of my C: drive does not find a EPOCWIND.OUT file. Do I need to set something in epoc.ini to tell the emulator to create that file?
Yes, I can see the debug output in the window in VC6, but I am more interested in the case where I run the EPOC emulator outside of VC6. I need to see the emulator's log in that scenario.
It's where your TEMP environment variable points to. The default is something like %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp, at least on W2K. The Local Settings directory is hidden by default, so that's why it does not show in search results.
