How 8310 can synchronize MS Outlook 2000

When I launch Nokia PC Sync, I am told that the phone time is not set yet.
But I did set it first.

There are two possible solutions to this problem:
either (re)set the DATE in the phone, or
Open another application in the synch-program.
Then normally a message appears: "Do you wish to set the time... etc".
