Hello, I am trying to synchronize between 7250i and an syncml server. When setting the settings for syncml I noticed that there are no settings for Internet connection, instead only for wap as the bearer. Can this really be true?? For example in 6220 and 3650 you can set the internet connection settings. (Actually I checked this from the operator, also they said that it is the thing). Why? Is there an special reason for this?
Also, If I use the wap settings it doesn't work, I think this is because of the operator gateway (Finnish Radiolinja) cuts the messages off. Has anyone had experiences in this matter?
And other question is that what are the nokia models where you can set the specifically internet connections to syncml client?
the 7250 needs a WAP-gateway to connect to the syncML-Server.
but i don't know why...
it uses automatically the GPRS / WAP Connection ...
i did'nt findy any other way.
also i have problems with the WAP-gateway.
we are using the infinte wap-gateway 2.02
this version don't understand die MIME-Type
"application/vnd.syncml+xml"
First Series 40 product supporting TCP/IP stack is Nokia 6220. This is the reason why all earlier S40 products (like Nokia 7250) uses WSP stack to communicate with servers.
