Video stream to nokia 3650

I'm trying to stream video from my laptop to my Nokia 3650 using a Bluetooth connection.

I downloaded the trial version of the Helix Server and Helix Mobile
Producer.

I've installed the server and made some films to stream them with the Mobile Producer using the guidelines explained in the RealNetworks webpage.

If i stream the video from my LAPTOP to my PC using an ethernet cable i get no problem.

The problem shows up when i try to stream the files to my nokia 3650. I explain you the process i follow and the error i get:

1.- I connect my LAPTOP to my Nokia 3650 using a Bluetooth serial port connection.
2.- I run the RealOne Player in my mobile.
3.- I type the Url address: "rtsp://myserver/1.rm" but when i press "ok",
an error appears: "Unable to connect. No service."

I've tried to look into the Nokia's webpage to look for any information
about that but i got no success. I've founs the document you wrote "Video
delivery and service creation" in May 12, 2003 where some tips about video
strem were given.

Have you in your company tried to stream video to the 3650 via Bluetooth?
did you get it?. I don't know if i should ask to someone else, but, in that
case, would you please tell me the mail address of the right person to make
such question?

Hello!

You may have mixed up the consepts here, there are three type of transportation/playback option available.

1) Clip download, you download the clip using WAP, HTTP, MMS, BR ot IR to the device and play the clip from the memory of the device.

2) Progressive download, you start downloading the clip from it's source using HTTP, but you also start the playback before the clip has been downloaded to the device. This option is not available at Nokia devices.

3) Streaming, actual content (clip or a live stream) will be stored at server and you download and play it simultaneous, clip will never be stored to the device. This can be done using RTSP or PSS protocols in Nokia devices. Both of these protocols runs top of TCI/IP connection.

You can't setup a TCP/IP connection using Bluetooth, as you told, you open a SERIAL communication protocol between Laptop and the phone.

Have you configured your server to send the correct MIME for the 3gp-file, ie. video/3gpp?
