DynInitMenuPaneL not called

my problem: i have a special application where the DynInitMenuPaneL function is NOT CALLED by the EIKON framework.

can anyone tell me why and how i can resolve it

in which class are you implementing it in ?

At least in CAknViewAppUi derived appUi class it should work correctly.

my appui class is derived from CAknViewAppUi

thats the reason i don`t understand why the function is not called

then I would go and check the spelling and other aspects.

So the definition in class as well as the implementation has excatly right spelling, cases & argument list.
