best way to send a finished ringtone to a phone

I've got my ringtone in hex. Now I need to know how to get it onto my phone. When I use the mail() command in PHP it tags on an extra space, then a carriage return, and finally another space. This is screwing up my tones.

Could someone tell me the best way to send ringtones to a phone. What language should I be using?

I may be showing my ignorance here, but lots of people seem to use Visual Basic, and AT-commands. Maybe a real *developer* can help you more, and not just us tech support guys...

You can not send out a ringtone using mail() function. You will need to send out the ringtone by an SMSc.
