Renaming file extensions on series 40

Can somebody tell me if there is an application for series 40 that allows me to change file extensions or browse the folder structure on it..?

Something like feExplorer...but this doesnt work on series 40...

Any ideas?

There is no direct file system access from Java on Series 40. In other words: No can do.

Shizer..thats a bummer...any other ideas? What if you send the phone a file without any extension..and then when you rename it like file.ext .. would it then pick up it has an extension?
