M2M Solution for Oil Company

We have been approached by a Major Oil Company in the Middle East to provide them with possible M2M solutions for the Oil fields. Does anyone have any ideas or case studies that we could start working on. Any M2M solution that would help us propose to this Oil company. Any kind of help will be appreciated.
