nokia 9210 software with windows xp

After installing the CD for the Nokia 9210 on windows xp,the message always reads " not connected"

What am I doing wrong please ?

Have you tried to adjust the port settings of your communcations port. Are you using Cable? If not go to DeviceManager and Ports. Then choose properties for the Com port your have connected the cable to . Under port settings you will find bits pr. second. Adjust this to 115200. There is altso an Icon in you taskline ( by the clock ). Two cables connecting? Double click and make sure it's set to the correct port.
