    can give me a few advantages using TCP against of HTTP in developing multiplayer games.
    i jz know the advantages as below:
    1) HTTP need always polling data from server.Therefore, it will become more costly and make the network bursty.

    Is there any advantages more?10q

    The biggest difference is the fact that some carriers support one and not the other. Or one is faster than the other, depending on the carrier. So if you want to deliver your game to multiple carriers, you need to do both.

    I'm biased, but my opinion is that the best approach is to use a toolkit that lets you switch between TCP and HTTP by changing a single line in your build properties.

    Such as the J2Play Toolkit.
