After loading midi.wml and clicking on a link to a cod file
and accepting the download, one of them (Verve) downloads fine
to the 3510, however the other (Blink182) hangs after I accept it,
then times out about a minute later with an error.
I can't figure out what is up with this. Any ideas?
Thankyou
Stuart

Actually never mind. We figured out thru trial and error that to
download thru WAP or ContentDownload they have to be 1.5K or under.
Is that right? Is that a restriction of the handset, the WAP gateway
or WAP protocol? The documentation doesn't mention this anywhere..
I am hoping that with MMS I can send the complete file.

Hello ,
No , it is not neccesary that the midi file should be under 1.5k, i have downloaded files of more than 1.5k, infact i have downloaded files upto 5K, it is actually a restriction of the wap gateway , also try connection oriented connection, it might help u sometimes. Try downloading these files through another gateway , i am sure u will be able to do so , if the gateway supports it.
Now i would request you to please provide me with the correct .COD file, as i have tried creating one, but the phone shows, file format not supported, i have also set the mime types correctly for cod, Can u please give me the .cod file example( a working one) and also the install notify fuctionality feature.

COD-Install-Notify: http://192.168.0.27/jadnotify.asp?I=1
COD-Next-URL-at-Error: http://www.yourwap.com
COD-Next-URL: http://www.waplives.com
COD-Description: For testing COD delivery system and polyphonic ringtones.
COD-Vendor: blah blah
Where the midi file is on my PC (198.162.0.27) and is served through the IIS, i can download this midi if i directly put a bookmark of its location , but when i try to download it by pointing to COD , mobile gives an error , file format unknown
