Cancel while Transfer via IR in Progress

hi there,
i'm transferring file via IR using CObexClient and ActiveObject.
i'm having difficulties if there is an error or if i cancel the process while transferring a file via IR is in progress...

1. dont know where to put Abort or Disconnect function.

2. how to detect whether the transfer process (the put function) is in progress or not?

any link, comment, idea, code?
