9210 - external images not displayed

The 9210 WAP browser does not appear to make requests for images that are on a different domain to the page containing them.

For example, if http://www.mypages.com/index.wml contains <img src='http://www.myimages.com/image.gif'>, the request is not made.

The "progress icon" does not even spin, and I can confirm that no request arrives at the WAP gateway.

Absolute URLs to the same server as the page work - so that's not the problem.

Anyone else seen or solved? Or is it by design?

Hello!

Which software version do you have in your Nokia 9210 Communicator? This was a known problem in the very first software releases but should have been fixed since then. Updating your communicator software might help solving the problem. If not, please let us know.
