    hi.,

I wanted to install some .jar and .sis files on my N6230. I transfered them to the phone memory using Bluetooth File Transfer Service. Trsnsfer was successfull but when i open the .jar or .sys files the phone says "unrecogonised file format" .

why is this so? Am i following the right procedure to install software? If not please let me know the right procedure.

Well if its the right procedure and you may feel that the files are corrupted or some other reason, please give me the url to a .jar or a .sis file that can be installed on my N6230

    thanks in advance.

.Sis file is the installation file of Symbian OS. N6230 is not a Symbian OS phone. Therefore it gives "unrecogonised file format".
    Hope this helps.
