Font problems with Communicator: As we all know, there is a bug in the font.properties file that comes with the default Java installation on Communicator. When will this bug be fixed? What should developers do in the meantime? Is it okay to include a fixed font.properties file in .SIS and overwrite the one on the device?

Yes, this problem is known and we are currently working on it. This bug will be fixed in coming releases. At the moment one should use the only font available and keep in mind, that different font layouts may need different amount of space.
