Animation speed for a GIF file!

1)Is it possible to set animation speed while displaying an animated GIF file? The speed of animation which I get on Nokia 6600 is slow. I use CPAlbImageViewerBasic Class.

2) Is there any other way to display animated GIFs that allows me to control animation speed? An example of the code would be much appreciated.

Basically the animation itself should tell the speed of the animation. You propably could try finding the time information from the frameinfo for the image.

Anyway, if you want to do the animation by your self, you could load all of the frames by your self and use timer to draw them into the screen.
