BT example crashes on emulator

Running examples on emulator

btadvertiser :: when I select Start Adver.. : crashes with 'program closed'
btdiscovery :: when I select Discover : crashes with 'system error'

Do I require to install extra API's ?

BT setting in emulator is : On

Hi,

You have to install Nokia Connectivity Framework in order to work with BT examples in WINS environment.

You can download NCF from www.forum.nokia.com and follow the installation guide to install the same.

I have used NCF 1.2, USB Bluetooth dongle, and SDK version 2.1 for Series 60

i use windows xp sp 2. my emulator able to find device name (I name my phone "N 6600"), but my emulator can not find any service available on my phone.

I have tried discovery, pointtopoint and obex example from Series60Ex directory of this sdk

anyway, I also not able to connect my Nokia PC Suite (6600) using my Bluetooth dongle. So, I plug my BT dongle as well as my infra red to be used by my PC Suite.


any body will tell me what's wrong ?

Even I am facing the sam eproblem with Series60_v21_CW. Please let me know if you found a solution for it.
