File Formats

I am trying to compile a list of phone file formats. Does Nokia have a list of all thier phones with supported file formats? Even better would be if someone had a list of all of Nokias file formats and other phone providers as well.

No such complete list by anyone for any manufacturer (or even any single phone) that I've ever seen.

What's the purpose/objective of compiling such a list? What would it be useful for? For whom?

The info would be useful for creating an application which would need to convert images and audio to fit the needs of specific devices. You would be able to look in the db for what the final output format needs to be and do the correct files conversions for the particular phone.
