Monitor incoming calls

i need to develop an application for nokia 3220 which will monitor incoming calls and if the call is not from a specified list of numbers the java app will cause the call to disconnect

is there a way to do this using the sdk for the 3220?

Not with Java and not on that phone. Such call management control is not possible with J2ME, so you must use a phone with a high-level operating system such as Symbian, and write the app in C++, instead.

If you go for a Series 60 based phone, then there are already a bunch of apps (BlackList and Black Lister, for example) that do what you want, so you can save time & effort by buying them.
