install signed java aaron.jad 6630 YES 6680 NO

Hello everybody,

I can install a signed (thawte) java application on a 6630. I have to set all the certificate parameters, I download the program from the internet, and it works fine. It is then installed in the (trusted domain) or rather the german equivilant.

Now I try to do it on the 6680. V 3.04.11 14-04-05 RM-36 from Vodafone. It asks whether I want to install it, then it asks where, it strats downloading and at 100% then it throws a security exception. I can install the jar file but then it is the untrusted domain.

I went to a vodafone shop with nokia center in Stuttgart and let them put in the latest firmware.

1. Is there any later firmware than the above mentioned, V 3.04.11. that goes on a vodafone 6680?

2. What else could be the problem?

3. I could sent the download link to another 6680 User for a test. To make sure its not a hardware problem.
