The JavaPhone APIs

The JavaPhone is a package with APIs that allow Java applications
access
to the telephone features of the device. The JavaPhone specification
can be downloaded from the Java web site (2). Currently the Symbian
implementation does not support the following JavaPhone packages:
- javax.ce.install
- javax.power.management
- javax.telephony.callcontrol
- javax.telephony.phone
- javax.net.ssl

Additionally, the PersonalJava 1.2 application environment does not
support a fine-grained security model, which is why applets cannot be
given access to any of the JavaPhone APIs.
