    Hi everyone!
I really need some help here as I'm attempting to make a user guide on how to connect phones to PC via bluetooth. Is there anyway to do a screen shot of the phones so that i can show users what the phone prompts when pc is trying to connect to it?
    Thanks a million!

Depends on the phone. Communicators (9500, 9300, 9300i, 9210, 9210i) have a built-in screenshot mechanism. Some Series 60 phones do, too (well, at least the original N-Gage), and for others you can install a separate screen capture app (e.g., the free FExplorer, http://www.gosymbian.com, does screenshots).

It is not possible on Series 40 phones. You can use a digital camera to take pictures of the screen with those (won't be as good, of course).

I have developed a free screenshot tool too. Check it out at http://www.antonypranata.com/screenshot/. It supports S60 and UIQ.

There is a continuous mode where you can capture several consecutive screenshots.

    Hi Antony,

I've tried your Screenshot utility on 6120 Classic.
Installation is no problem, but I can take a screenshot.
    I can choose between <shift>+<*> or <shift>+<#> or <shift>+<ok>.
    (I have choosen <shift>+<ok>)

But I don't know, what is meant by <shift>?
I would gess it is the lower right key (the one with "#" and the arrow up).

All combinations mentioned above (while using "#" as shift) don't work.
The documentation on your webside is showing <edit key> combinations.

But the 6120 classic does not have the edit key any more.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks, Thorsten

Unfortunately Nokia 6120 doesn't have Edit or Shift key.
For this device, you have to use Screenshot version 2.80. It supports additional shortcuts, e.g. C (Backspace key).

Currently, I don't have the signed version of Screenshot 2.80. I am still waiting for Symbian Signed to sign it. If you want, you can download the unsigned version from my web site (http://www.antonypranata.com/screenshot/).

    Hi Antrony,

    thanks for your reply.

I have looked your web page. I can only find 2.60 as latest version to download.
Can you tell me the exact link where to download it?

    Many Thanks, Thorsten

Ops sorry. The source code as well as the unsigned version of Screenshot is available on SourceForge.net (http://sourceforge.net/projects/screenshot-sos)
