basically, i think you should look inot the SDKs that allow you to develop application with C++.

I think easiest to get ringtones disabled would be to set silent profile on.

    hi!
i would like to describe more about my previous question. Actually, i'm developing an application which could disable ringtones automatically without having to set the silent profile on. This means that ringtones will automatically disabled whenever the mobile phone user enters the restricted ringtones area such as library instead of setting the silent profile on. My questions are:

1)Are there any tools that allow me to develop this kind of application?

    2) Is Appforge software is suitable to develop this application?

I doubt AppForge/Crossfire allows you to access low-level/undocumented functions you're likely to need for such a thing.

Also, how would the phone know it is in a restricted area? Would you also develop some sort of "beacon" broadcasting that fact?

And every phone that needs to recognize this would have to have your app installed too. Not easy to get every library visitor to first get compatible phones, and then also to install your app as well.

In any case, as yucca said, look into the C++ SDKs.
