i'm totally new to C++ application development for symbian.

i want to monitor the battery life programatically. Plz tell me some API that i can use for the purpose.
( I'm using CodeWarrior and series 60 SDK )

Also i need to invoke other programs programatically. plz teel me an API for the same.
