most suitable phones for j2me application?

what would be the most suitable mobile phone models for j2me application?
the application needs to print on printer via infrared and make transactions via GPRS, so what would the best mobile phone models?

go to the forums home page, and I believe on left pane, it lists devices, you can then see what devices support what feature.

yes.. i have already about those devices and specs. i am still not which to get, as there are so many choices. would you or anyone please suggest few phone models to me? thanks alot.

If you're developing only for yourself, an N70 (or N80 when available).

If you're targeting a commercial app, then at least:
6230, 6230i, 6280 as good samples for different generations of S40 type devices
6600, 6680, N70, N80 representing a selection of S60 devices

i see you left out the 6101 as a series40 device petrib, is this due to it's lack of support for Midlet connections to internet?

I like the 6630, but, as reqd. does not have the infrared, but as far as issues go, have not run into any, it is like the "golden child" thus far!
