pim and updating a contact ?? help

hi there people ...

i wanna use the jsr75 api "PIM " to make an application in order to backup your contacts ..
ok
i already saved com contacts in a secured space in the internet .
now i wanna send this contact through http and check if found in the phonebook list .. i want it eather removed and add the new one ... or update its number with the recieved one ...

how can i do it ...?????

Check the resources below, all the info you need is available on them. Also, note that not all S60 devices have support for JSR-75, so confirm this info for your target device(s).

am sorry for being late to reply ... but its my holiday and i don't check my pc..
anyway .. about accessing PIM information for s60 .. i'd rather you use Symbian rather than j2me ...
it would be easier .. and faster ..
there is a couple of examples and api to be used such as the contact database and the phonebook api .... and there is a sample example of how to use them in the nokia forum ..

but if u wanna use j2me .. it would be limited for the mobiles that supports JSR 75... and s60 mostly doesn't support this api .....

i've already built my PIM application Using Symbian for the s60 and its way easier and powerful than j2me

I'm also trying to develop such kind of a app. I have already done back up part. Now I'm developing the restore part. I did that to some extent. But don't know whether it will work on a real environment. At there phone contacts are again gathered to server side and compare those with available contacts on database. after checking suitable actions are taken whether to update, create new contact. It will be great if u could give me the logical part of restoration.
