New to bluetooth programming

ive worked a bit in j2me and now for the sake of my project i have to communicate a desktop application in j2se with a j2me app. running on mobile device.. but at the moment i m just woking on emulators...

i m using ibm websphere and nokia series 60 sdk...

i have a couple of questoin which i hope will be answered...

- is there any way to make a bluetooth applicaion in j2se? cuz jdk doesnt support bluetooth

- plz specify some workable example which could help me in starting my project

- what is the best free ide and where can i get it

the best and the free IDE is eclipse.
But netbeans ide has more support for j2me than eclipse but it is heavy.
