I am trying to develop an application which makes a reasonable approximation for a stopwatch running over a significant period of time (3 hrs). I am experiencing significant drift in the system time on Nokia devices (6600 is the primry device). Is there a known drift factor for nokia devices - or is the inaccuracy unpredicatable?

    nstamps,

I would say that the drift is unpredictable. We observe that the phones itself update the system time every now and then, but still we experience inacurracies that are not negligible.

I suspect that it is somehow dependent on the overall system load of the processor, since I observe that the drift is larger when we stress the phone.

    br, Marcel
