    Hi all..
I developed an application using PIM API. Now the phone is asking for the user's permission to read/write each contact information. My client mentioned me that his friend developed same application in which phone is asking only at first. He got this trick from nokia forum. Anyway in phone, there is only 2 options for that(not allowed and ask everytime). So if you have any idea about this please help me. I already searched the forum but i didn't get a correct info about this issue.

    Regards,
    Hadhi.

Please mention in which phone you are trying.
May be you should try with signing the application, so that permissions wont be asked.

Regarding Signing please check these links.

    hi Hadhi,
follow Gopal, there is no tricks in that,
your midlet is not signed (treated by pone/emulator as 3rd party untrusted applicatoin) so you've got default PIM/MIDP 2.0 security options: "not allowed", "ask everytime" ("deny", "one shot" in docs language)
    hth,
    regards,
    Peter
