Send/Receive SMS

i want to develop an application which can Send/Receive SMS using nokia phone connected to PC via data cable. i will really appreciate, if you can tell me any basic phone model(non camera, non color screen) which can do that.

Any basic model supported as PC Suite compatible should do. Pick one from this table with both USB cable support and NTE (Nokia Text message Editor) support checked:
