undefined symbol CFont::AscentInPixels() in Series60 3rd MR SDK

Hi,

in the process of porting an existing application for Series60 Second edition to Series60 third edition I get the following linker error:

Undefined symbol: 'int CFont::AscentInPixels(void) const (?AscentInPixels@CFont@@QBEHXZ)'

while compiling for WinsCW and GCCE

This application compiles ok in the Series60 2d Edition SDK.

I use the Series60 3rd MR SDK.

Can anybody give some information how to solve this issue?

Hi,

I solved the problem by putting the gdi.lib in the mmp file.
The contents of the gdi.h file is changed between Symbian 8.0 and Symbian 9.1 and now it's necessary to have the gdi.lib in het mmp file.

yes ,I solve this proble alse by add
LIBRARY ***.lib
LIBRARY ***.lib
in the ***.mmp file ,which is included in your project,
***.lib is the lib files that you needed in your
program. I hope these can be helpful for you
