    Can any one tell me if there is any Free S/W for a Dictionary app for Nokia 6600.

    I have downloaded a few dictionaries myself and found viren's dictionary to be the best hope this helps.

    Think Viren's Dic contain a virus ? my phone hangs every time I run your dic. be little careful people.

    it is extremely unlikely that the Viren's Dictionary contains a virus. First of all the midlet runs in a secure sandbox, which limits the access to native capabilities of the phone. Secondly, if the application tries to do anything potentially harmful (reading/writing user data, sending SMS messages, connecting to the network, etc.) the user is prompted for access rights (unless the midlet is signed with operator/manufacturer domain certificate, which is extremely unlikely too, even the third party midlets ask for permission for most of the things by default).
    It is more likely that the midlet uses too much memroy or something else which makes the phone unresponsive.

    Note: I have not downloaded the midlet myself - the above is general response to Java ME based virus comments.
