How do put in an image as splash screen?

I want to put an image I created as a splash screen in my mobile game for S60 series phone (Nokia 3230). Can anyone help me with the code please? I got the skeleton for the splash screen from Nokia Forum but need help in putting the image into the skeleton.

here's an easy way, n i have NOT checked what the sun site says.

when you initialise the MIDlet, assuming you use Canvas for your app, or game, use thread so that an image is displayed on the screen, and then put the thread to sleep for a few seconds.

then repaint with the original app/game things......

if the sun-site suggests anything better, go for it......
