Installation of SDK

Actually I searched for the appinfo.rh file after installing the SDK but it was not there....

I reinstalled the SDK but that file I could nt find anywhere....

I installed SDK 2nd edition, Active Perl 5.8.8.817 and s60_2nd_FP2_CW (codewarrior 8.0a)
Is there any hierarchial procedure to install these softwares?

Please suggest me.

You seem to be confused about 2nd and 3rd edition of the Series 60 platform.
S60_2nd_FP2_CW is a 2nd edition SDK, where application captions, capabilities and icons are packed in a .aif file (and its source includes aiftool.rh) which is deployed in the application directory (\system\apps\<yourapp>). Search for "Application information file" or simply aif in the SDK Help.
3rd edition uses the _reg.rsc files requiring appinfo.rh, and these files are deployed to \private\10003a3f\[import\]apps\.
There is a complete binary and deployment break between 3rd edition and its predecessors.
