    Hi,

    I am trying to install carbide.c++ express and I got this strange error

    [IMG]C:\Documents and Settings\Srinivas\My Documents\error.bmp[/IMG]

    well it says
    >setupDLL\setupDLL.cpp(439)
    pAPP:
    pVENDOR:
    pGUID:
    $7.1.100.1248PAK
    @windows 2000 service pack 4("!)%)BT_OTHER 0.64 in a dialog window

    I am using windows 2000 and I have serive pack 4 installed in my PC

    could anybody help me on this.

    Has this problem continued for you? Did you try downloading the installer again to see if that helped? At what point in the installation does this occur?

    Hi,

    I didnt tried to reinstall as somebody told me that Carbide is more compatible with WIndows XP.So I moved to Windows XP and it works fine.

    Hi,

    I get same error message than chirumar, when I try install carbide.c++ express.
    Error come as soon as I start installation.

    @windows XP Servise Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 0.64

    I have XP pro, version 2002 and SP2 installed in my PC.

    If somebody knows how I can install carbide please tell me.

    Do you have another XP machine you can try to install it on to see if it works then? I'm sure you already have, but did you ensure that no anti-virus software was running when you installed?

    msalmo,

    Yes I´ve been tried install three different computers. Two HPs and one Fujitsu-Siemens. And it doesn´t install to HP, but install to Fujitsu.
    And I have HP where I want install that Carbide
