This seems to be a bug but if it is a feature it would be nice to turn it off...

The Nokia 6233 allows the owner to use an animation (swf) as a background and as a screensaver.

However, when the backlight dims then the animation stops playing. I understand the backlight dimming is needed to conserve battery power but it would be nice if the animation continued.

I have come across a number of 6233 owners on the net complaining about this and believe it would be a nice feature of the phone if the animations could continue.
