Video Camera + Python

Looking at the Python API documentation, it seems that all the functionality for the camera handles still shots only. Yet there are some Series60 devices (like the N80 I'm using) that have a video camera mode as well as stills. Is there any Python support for controlling the video camera? A search of the forums didn't seem to come up with anything.

Novitiate question perhaps, but thanks for any information that can be provided.

Sorry, but not yet.

(except launching/shutting down the device resident video camera application and possibly showing the video with "appuifw.Content_handler").

Doh! Alright, thanks for the information. I can probably craft a work-around just launching the native app with some other structure elsewhere.

As an aside, any idea when support may be added?
